Combining our newly released height adjustable front coilovers with our time-tested lowering components equal the optimum in sporttruck handling all in one convenient package. Our Belltech lowering coilovers feature phenomenal Street Performance dampers with perfected pre-set damping. They are proven to give you a smoother, safer, more even-feeling ride. The dampers are made of galvanized steel and zinc plated for a rust-preventing finish. They showcase a large 2.4" (60mm) damper body that holds increased volumes of oil, 35mm independent rebound and compression valves, and a low-friction design. All these details work together to provide you with damping that does not fade. Our 20mm hardened chrome piston rods give the design increased strength and durability. With threaded damper bodies and an easy-to-place spring perch, we are able to offer optimal height customization from -.5" to -3" in the front and -1" to -4.5" in the rear. After adjusting the ride height, it is important to accommodate the bump stop engagement, and we supply a progressive rate polymer, open-cell, bump stop, and packers to do just that. This coilover design uses a main spring and a helper spring. The helper spring keeps tension on the main spring when the suspension is at full droop, so it stays properly seated in place. Both springs are made of cold-formed, high tensile steel and powder-coated for longevity. To reduce noise and vibrations, we utilize a high durometer vulcanized rubber bushing. To keep the damper pristine and protect it from debris, we apply a plastic dust boot, and for easy installation, the OE top mount is used.
