The Extang Encore Tonno is a low profile, hard tri-fold truck bed cover that offers unparalleled versatility. The Encore gives you easy access to your truck bed from the both front and rear panels! The EnCore truck bed cover is self-positioning for quick and easy installation. Extang engineered rear latches lock the cover at the tailgate and supplemental tethers secure your cover to the side rails. The wide-opening front panel provides quick access to the front of the truck bed and can be locked featuring BOLT , one-key lock technology. Extang-tuff 1-inch thick panels are made of automotive thermo-plastic (TPO) for unmatched impact resistance, superior UV protection and thermal stability. Features:
The Extang Encore has a unique design that allows it to open from the front or the rear of the bed. The front panel secures with twist lock(key provided). The rear of the cover uses slam latches that work from either side of the bed, and automatically lock when the cover is closed.
The cover is constructed of 1" thick EnduraShield panels with a matte black, powder coated aluminum frame and hinges. EnduraShield is an automotive grade polymer that is highly resistant to denting, as well as scratching and UV fading. The panels also remain cool to the touch on hot days. The Extang Encore is an easy, no-drill installation. You only need basic tools like a socket wrench and a philips head screwdriver to mount the rails to the truck's bed. The cover itself can be attached or removed in seconds with no tools needed.
While no cover is 100% waterproof, the Encore does a great job keeping the weather out with the flexible EPDM rubber seals on all four sides. Extang warrants the Encore against any manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years. The cover also is made in the USA so you can rest easy knowing the quality is second to none.
