The Hotchkis Tuned 1.5 Street Performance Series shock absorbers manufactured by Fox have been specifically tuned by Hotchkis ride engineers brining a smooth ride and exceptional control to your 63-76 Dodge Dart 70-74 Challenger. The Hotchkis 1.5 Street Performance Series shock absorbers feature the latest cutting edge mono tube shock technology in a lightweight smooth-bore Type III hard anodized aluminum body. The shocks feature smooth riding digressive disc technology a high-flow piston specially formulated oil and high pressure nitrogen for consistent performance under varying conditions and temperatures. Each shock is application tuned to offer superior ride comfort as well as vehicle control. For years of durability the 1.5 SPS shock features ½” hard chrome plated heat treated alloy shaft subjected to 100 hour salt spray testing. To prevent contaminants from entering the shock the rod guide employs a wiper/scraper dual seal which cleans the shaft before reaching the main seal. The GTI/Golf/Jette in stock form has a tremendous amount of roll as it travels through a corner. Along with that roll under steer develops and progressively gets worse until you are forced to back-off the throttle to get more weight to the front and subsequently turn the rear. With the Hotchkis Sport Sway Bar Set installed turn-in is very crisp and much faster while roll is limited through the corner. The GTI now responds very well to quick maneuvers while the outside front and rear tires gain so much grip that they feel as though they have added tire pressure. This Sport Sway Bar Set consists of a tubular 27mm front sway bar and a tubular 30mm rear sway bar. The front has two positions of adjustability while the rear has three. Polyurethane bushings and bushing brackets front and rear are included as well as zerk fittings for easy lubrication. The front features a hybrid adjustable rod end link while the rear includes adjustable rear links mounts and grade 8 hardware. The Sport Set is perfect for aggressive canyon carving and track day events while not being too aggressive for every day street driving.
