The Extang Solid Fold 2.0 is constructed of 1" thick EnduraShield panels with a matte black, powder coated aluminum frame and hinges. The panels as well as the frame have a textured matte finish so it will perfectly match the OEM bed cap protectors on all new trucks. EnduraShield is an automotive grade polymer that is extremely impact and scratch resistant, so the panel surfaces will not scratch or dent, and will not fade. They also stay cool to the touch in hot climates.
Installation of the Solid Fold 2.0 is a snap with the JawGrip clamps. There are no tools required and it arrives fully assembled inside the box. All you need to do is set the cover on the bed caps, tighten the t-grip handles on the JawGrip clamps, fold down the last two panels, and then secure the patented EZLock clamps at the tailgate. While no cover is 100% waterproof, the Solid Fold 2.0 does a great job with the triple fin seals on all four sides of the cover.
Extang passes strict OEM testing for water management, load capacity and fading. The Solid Fold 2.0 is covered against any manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years. The cover also is made in the USA so you can rest easy knowing the quality is second to none.
