About Blazer

The iconic bowtie logo of the Chevrolet brand is world-renowned. When people mention the word ‘Chevrolet’, vehicles such as the Corvette and Camaro always comes to mind. The brand was established in November 3, 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant. Chevrolet is a Swiss race car driver who made his mark driving Buick cars in various promotional races. At that time, Durant is the head of Buick and hired Chevrolet to be the face of the company.

The first Chevy vehicle that came out the factory is the Series C Classic Six in 1912. It is a luxurious six-cylinder automobile that came equipped with a high-performance engine. Louis Chevrolet loved the Series C, but Durant had other things in mind. The two gentlemen had a dispute in 1913 which led to Louis Chevrolet parting ways with William Durant.

The Chevrolet bowtie logo first appeared in the Royal Mail Roadster in 1914. Durant, who was ousted from General Motors in 1910, regained control of Chevrolet in 1916. Chevrolet eventually became a part of General Motors in 1918 as it introduced the first Chevy truck based on the chassis of the Model 490. In 1927, Chevrolet was able to overtake the Ford Motor Company with more than 1 million vehicles sold. Credit can also be given to Chevrolet for introducing the first SUV with the Suburban Carryall in 1935.

While the Chevy Camaro and Corvette will always remain in the pantheon of the best American sports cars and muscle cars, the bowtie brand is mostly known for their durable trucks and sport-utility vehicles. The Chevrolet Trax is a good entry-level crossover SUV that offers a ton of features at a low base price. The Chevy Equinox and Chevy Traverse are desirable family haulers that offers more space and practicality than a normal sedan. When it comes to large families or towing cargo, you can always count on the V8-powered grunt of the Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban. The midsize Chevy Colorado is a small truck with big capabilities. But when it comes to a true workhorse, it is hard to go wrong with the Chevy Silverado 1500 and HD.

But the Chevy brand is not resting in its laurels in the performance division. The American carmaker has the Chevy Camaro to go head-to-head with the Ford Mustang. The Camaro is sold in a variety of trims and engine choices including the hardcore ZL1 model. Of course, if speed and great looks is what you want in a Chevy, you should look no further than the Corvette Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06, and the supercar-baiter Corvette ZR-1.
